Q. Do I need any prior yoga experience?
A. No, all the classes at Yogify Yo’self are open to anyone! Try one, or come to all of them each week!
Q. I don’t speak English. Can I still participate?
A. Absolutely! Everyone who attends our classes has a different level of ability in English. It’s easy to follow the teacher’s instruction, and a great way to learn more English in a fun and relaxing environment!
Q. Do I need a membership for the classes at K’s Gym?
A. There is no membership required. All the classes are “free entry”. However, if after your second time, you plan to continue your lessons regularly, we recommend purchasing a stamp card from K’s Gym, which are available for 3, 6, or 12 sessions. After you complete a 12-stamp card, you get a free session!
Q. What is the Kind Share Option?
A. The Kind Share Option is an additional way in which you can contribute to the greater good of yoga. It’s an active sharing program that affords everyone an opportunity to express gratitude and give back to the yoga community. This is known as the gift economy. We find value in things other than money. What we find is that when we help build a resilient community, we set the stage for us all to experience, grow and thrive in the richness that yoga IS in our lives.
Q. When should I arrive at the studio?
A. If it’s your first time, we will ask you to fill out a registration form, so please come a little early. You may also want time to stretch and breathe before the class begins. We recommend you arrive 10-15 minutes before the class time.
Q. What should I bring?
A. You should bring a bottle of water, a towel to wipe your sweat, a yoga mat, and wear comfortable clothes you can move around in. Everything else will be provided at the studio. If you do not have a yoga mat, you can borrow one from us at no charge. Quantities are limited, however.
Q. I’m a man. Can I attend classes at Yogify Yo’self?
A. Certainly, you can! The community classes are open to everyone. We welcome people of any age (over 18), gender, race, or language ability!
Q. Is the schedule always the same?
A. The schedule will not change drastically. However, once you have registered, we will send any change notifications via our email newsletter. You can also check for announcements regarding schedule changes, special events and other activities here on the website, or on our Facebook Page. You can also contact Kristina via the LINE app to ask for specific details.
