Performing poses is not the reason. Being able to do the splits or stand on your head is not the goal. The intention is to create space inside where you are able to move freely and fluidly. To unlock the armor around your heart and let your warmth melt it away. To accept and appreciate your body and mind, and the power each of them holds. To practice gratitude and grace that makes peace with who you are, and who you are becoming. To love, and let love in.
Why practice yoga? Because yoga isn’t just something to do; it’s everything to be!
